Good day to all of you!
It was a grand weekend! It was an amazing week. It’s been a beautiful month.
We choose how to see our time here. You might know how my year has been. You might know the difficulties I have experienced. In the understanding of the flesh, it has been hard. But God reminds me that I have gone through nothing that is not common to the world. That others have been through the same thing.
I think of those in the impoverished countries and how finding breakfast is a major accomplishment. How that we are losing a child to a hunger related issue every 8 seconds. That in some countries, living beyond 20 years is nearly unheard of. We, here in America, have been blessed more than any other country in the history of the world. We truly have much to be thankful for and nothing to really complain about.
But that attitude is a choice. How we see life is a choice, not a requirement. We are fortunate to have a God that has said He will give us our own choices to make. Including the way we think. He does not stand over us with a whip telling us what to think. He has granted us the freedom to do that for ourselves. Even the homeless in America are doing better than those in most countries. Which is a sad thing to say.
We choose the way we think. We choose to bless. We choose to remember how wonderful our lives really are. We choose.
Blessings for a wonderful, chosen week!
